Does Urine Test Report Albumin: Trace (present), Pus Cells: 3-5/HPF Reveal That My Kidney Is Damaged ?
I am female of age 28..I am taking medicine of hypotheroid..i had my urine test today and the test result is: albumin: trace (present), pus cells: 3-5/HPF, Epithelial cells: 6-7/HPF..is this sign of my kidney damage?

The trace of albumin is not necessarily a sign of damage to kidney so don't worry.It can happen due to infection in urine;pregnancy also .No need to worry if you feel you have increased frequency of urine consult a doctor who will prescribe antibiotic if required & you should be fine .

Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Your reports doesn't indicate kidney damage.get a urine culture done and if any organism is identified then proper antibiotics may be given,but in consultation with your doctor.traces of albumin has no significance and can be found in so many cases without any kidney damage.Thanks and good luck.
