Does Usage Of Derma Roller Help In Curing Acne Scars On Face?

HI doctor.. I havery lot of scar on my right cheeks compared to left.. my previous two dermatologist said it s hyperpigmentation bt there was no use even after lot of treatment.. so nw I approached one more doctor so he said its acne scar which is very deep.. so he treated me using dermoroller just once and told me to come after 2 weeks n then he wil tell me how to use that dermoroller my self at home.. and he told me u don need any ointment to apply for acne.. nw my concern is tat will tat dermoroller work for my prob?? How often shud I use tat to get good result? Do I need any cream to apply overnight?

The use of derma roller can give promising results in superficial to moderately deep acne scars when they are not much old scars. Very deep scar or which are very chronic period of long standing, do not respond that efficiently to derma roller. However, once you use the same over a period of say 1 month or so, you will yourself realize the outcomes of the same. If there are no satisfactory results, you should discuss the need of laser therapy for curing it in best possible manner.
