Does Using Daunorubicin Hydrochloride Cause Weakening Of Heart Muscles?

Hi doctor. I am a 56yr old female. When I was 19yrs old I developed acute monocytic leukaemia,i was treated with Daunorubicin Hydrocloride as part of my drug regime. I tolerated it quite well,even though they hit me hard with the treatment. I have read in a medical journal that it has long lasting effects.EG: Weakening of the heart muscles. Is this true? I would be very grateful for your feedback.

I really appreciate your concern, it is not clearly mentioned anything about the cardiac condition just weakness of heart muscle does not create any sense, if EKG and ECHO not being done so it is necessary to get it done, although the medical history of disease and medicine given are irrelevant, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
