Does Using Panderm Plus For Pimples Have Any Side Effects?

Hello dear Dr
My skin have lot of pimples This is the second day I am using panderm plus I think it's useful for my skin but when I searched in Google I have found some side effects off using it and now I don't know what to do stop using it or continue??

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Panderm Plus cream is a combined formulation containing antibiotc, antifungal and steroid drugs..

It can however help in reducing pimples but as it contains steroids it can cause harmful effects on face, therefore I would not recommend you to use rather you can use safer anti acne medications for resolution of acne..

Steroid ointments if used for long term can cause deleterious side effects on face like skin thinning, increase pigmentation, may exaggerate pimples and cause hairgrowth on face..

For pimples or acne tou should consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can advise you to wash your face with Salicylic acid containing facewash..
Apply topical ointment containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide..
Apply retinoids like Adapelene gel in thin layer on pimples at night time..
Do cool compresses over face..
Exfoliate your face twice a week to unclog the pores and remove dead skin..
You can also apply a sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
Oral Medication like antibiotics like Clindamycin or Minocycline and retinoid like Isotretinoin can also be advised
Avoid oily food..
Add plenty of green leafy vegetables and fruits in diet..
Drink plenty of water..
