Does Using Steroids Lead To Delay In Periods?

my dermatologist gave me a steroid shot 2 weeks ago. my menstrual cycle is late by 5 days. could the steroid shot be the cause for the delayed menstrual cycle? I took a home pregnancytest on yesterday which was day 4 of my missed cycle. the test came back negative or not pregnant. could this be a false negative?

Two things you need to be differentiate here one is if the delayed menses is due to hormone medicine or due to unprotected coitus may done at the time of ovulation and best way to differentiate this with the helps of sonography this would clear the doubt, if the pregnancy is negative then hormone medicine would be the cause, take care.
