Does Using Oxygen Compressor At Nights Help To Relieve Dryness In The Nose?
I am taking Tarceva for lung cancer. One of the side effects is dry skin. I ve been using Ayr in my nose several times a day, but my nostrils continue to be crusted and sore. My pulmonary doc wants me to use an O2 compressor at night. I hooked it up to a water container. Do you think this will help the dryness.

Hi,
Oxygen therapy does increase stamina, good sleep, better chances of normal activities, also increases life expectancy. It provides good oxygen supply to all body with better function. It does not help rather increases dryness of the nasal cavity to get some relief, it's good that you have attached a water container to it.
Actually drinking ample of fluids, vapor inhalation, sounds or hot water bath help of a humidifier or saline nasal drops are home remedies for it. If not relieved consult ENT doctor for specific advice.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
