Does Wavy, Fuzzy And Flickering Vision Require Attention?

I went outside on a cloudy day for a short walk. On my way home my vision seemed distorted (ground seemed wavy) when I went inside I had flickering and fuzziness in my left eye peripheral vision. I have no other symptoms except feeling a bit sea sick due to the wave like vision. It is slowly getting better with rest and food. Trying to figure out if I need to go to a dr or just wait it out

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, you should definitely go to the doctor and get your retina checked because this sounds like retina problems, most probably a vitreous detachment which occurs with age and is usually benign, but it can sometimes cause retina hole. Therefore, have the medical check up done.

Hope it helps.
