Hi, last night I used a whitening lotion before I sleep. And when I woke up this morning, I noticed my legs and arms both slight reddening and it has itchy feeling. I immediately washed my body to the lotion will be remove onton my skin. It seem I got allergic reaction to the whitening lotion I used. Please help advise what medicine I can take?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain reddening of the areas of skin on which you applied whitening lotion along with itchy feeling seems most probably be due to allergic reaction or Contact Dermatitis to any of the active components present in the whitening lotion leading to the symptoms..
I would suggest you to avoid application of the lotion again..
As of now you can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine to relieve itching.. You can apply calaminte lotion to soothe the skin.. You can also do cool compresses to reduce redness and inflammation..
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having local allergic reaction to this cream. Wash local part with plane water thoroughly and apply vaseline or some anti-allergic cream. Take antihistamine medicine like Benadryl or cetrizine for 2-3 days. Stop using whitening cream. Ok and take care.
