Does Withdrawal Of Eptoin Cause Behavioural Changes?

Hello Doctor, Good morning My would be met with an accident, one month back. His Occipital bone got fracture with compression of unilateral cranial nerve. He have a family history of convulsions, so he advised to take eptoin for three months. Does it cause any changes in his health or he will be epileptic in future? Can You please suggest when to stop it. If he stop it all of sudden does it cause any mental behavior change?

I really appreciate your concern, history of accident and history of convulsion are two different conditions even in the absent of history of convulsion it would be necessary to administered anticonvulsion drug in case of bad head injury where the chances of convulsion is very likely hope this information, take care and have a nice day.
