Does Yeast Infection Cause Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding?

hi, I was wondering if a yeast infection can cause irregular bleeding during periods. I take birth control regulary (never missed a day) and just recently had a baby (in November) and my periods came normal and have been regular, but now it's time for my period and all it has been doing for the past 3 days is a brown discharge. I also just started experiencing yeast infection symptoms the same day as the brown bleeding started. I am married and we have no other sex partners. Please help!
