Does Yeast Infection Cause Small Tear And Cuts On Penis?

Hello, my BF recently had a yeast infection that he treated with coconut oil and the swelling and redness finally has gone away however he noticed he still has some tear and paper cut cuts on his penis. He is not circumcised. Is this caused by the yeast infection? The tear? Or friction perhaps? It s been a few days now should he continue using the coconut oil on it to heal the cuts? Any guidance would help. Thank you

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Yeast infection can cause cut like appearance on penis. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water. If coconut oil is not helping then using ointments containing anti fungal agents like miconazole and corticosteroid like flucinolone will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
