Does Yeast Infection Of Anal Crevice Spread To Other Parts Despite Having Treatment?
Hi I was diagnosed with a yeast infection of the anal crevice. I have been treating it for about a week with Chlortrimazole cream, hydrogen peroxide wipes, and Gold Bond powder to keep things dry. I have some anxiety about whether this could spread to another part ofmy body like my scalp. However I wash my hands frequently. Very frequently. And try to shower twice a day, at least. Do I need to really worry about the spreading. Thanks

Yeast infection can spread through nails.
Inspite of having cleaning habit if yeast remained under the nail can spread yeast infection.
While itching with nails in affected area yeast might transfer at various parts of body you mentioned with infected nails.
Over and above local application of anti-fungal go for one oral anti-fungal medicine course like Flucanazole 150 mg once in a week for 4 weeks.
Keep nails well cut and clean.
Ok and take care.
