Does Zpack Help For A Sinus Infection?

I am taking a zpack for a sinus infection. I also wounded my finger under my nail with a fork. I have puss comming out of the wound and it seems to be in more pain with each day (about 4 days old). I'm on my second day of the z-pack (500mgs). Will this help any infection of my finger as well?

Hi,
Z-pack is Azithromicin and will work for infection in nail infectionas well.
But you have to go for regular dressing for nail wound.
Clean the wound with antiseptic lotion and do dressing with antibiotic cream.
Ok and take care.
