HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Wt 815gm- this is your baby's present wieght
The placenta is graded from 0 to grade 3. Grade 2 is normally seen in the late 3rd trimester as the placenta ages.
Liquor is the fluid surrounding the fetus and they noted a decrease in the liquor in the uterus- oligohydraminos. This can be associated, in some babies, with complications
No congenital abnormalities- they did not detect any abnormalities with the baby
Single live gestation- one baby, cephalic just means head in pointing downward first which is normal

I hope this helps

OBGYN Dr. Shanti Vennam's  Response
Hi Harika,
According to your sonogram report, oligohydramnios is present. Placenta and the fetus appear to be normal. As the Amniotic Fluid Index( AFI ) is 11, which is within normal limits, Maximum vertical Pocket (MPV) reading should be also taken. if API is less than 5 centimeters and if MPV is less than 2 cm. then oligohydramnios is diagnosed. Oligohydramnios is seen in 4% of pregnancies. Many causes are possible, both maternal as well as fetal, most common being utero-placental insufficiency. Since you are in the mid trimester, you will need follow up sonograms to assess the fetal condition and to observe the possibility of any abnormalities that develop. You should take as much rest as possible and drink large amounts of water. Amnio-infusion is the last resort treatment for oligohydramnios, to be done only in expert hands. Have regular checkups with your doctor and follow advice. Wish you good health.
