Done Thyroid Nodule Biopsy. Warm Fluid Flow In Chest, Weakness, Swelling In Chest. Next Step?
January 2013 during a Left side thyroid nodule biopsy, I felt a warm flow -like fluid on the left side of my chest,since then i have felt pain weakness and observed swelling in my chest area Both feet and legs over a few months started tt swell with a shiny appearance. In May I went to the emergency room. Admitted for obsservation...elevated BP, low potassium, magnesium. I also have abdominal d istention... What are the next steps for my healthcare? ..........................................................What can cause a warm fluid like flow in the heart area during a left side thyroid fine needle biopsy?

Hi,
FNAC usally does not result in any complications but rarely associated with haemorrhage which can be found out using ultrasound scan..Kindly check your thyroid hormone levels.These symptoms may not be related to thyroid and may be due to some other pathology.
