Hello
I am Dr Ravinder Sharma. ENt surgeon
Ear discharge after an episode of cold is suggestive of the rupture of ear drum/graft. However it can also occur because of the problem in the outer part of the ear. I would suggest you to first consult a ENT surgeon to know about the state of graft or tympanic membrane. You will require a course of antibiotics to make the ear dry. Samll defects in drum after surgery may heal by itself if treated in time.
I hope this answers your concern. Feel free to contact me if you require more information about it
