Dose Binge Drinking Change Bowel Movements?

I very rarely seem to discharge solid stool, and most recently I ve been on a bit of a binge drinking alchohol. Could that be the cause? What worries me is even before this week when I was only drinking moderately, I still only seemed to produce diarrhea or at the very least inconsistent texture. So I guess my question is should I be worried?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. Good day, yes binge drinking and regular alcohol use will cause a change is bowel texture and consistency. In essence is causes malabsorption and this one get loose stools and diarrhea and foul smelling stools. I would not worry especially if you stop drinking and your diarrhea resolves. I hope this answers your question. Good luck and feel free to direct any more questions to me.
