Down With Pneumonia. Currently Having Fluids Drained From Her Lungs. What Does The Finding Mean?
my partner is currently in hospital with pneumonia. has been there for 16 days now. they say her bloods are high in potassium. is this a cause for concern? she is currently having fluids drained from her lungs. after an initial build up was drained, the fluids returned. doctors still cannot determine wether medication or key hole surgery is the solution. thanks.
.Hello. Fluid drained and returned in lung means it is an important pneumonia.
.The prognosis of pneumonia is associated with various factors such as level of consciousness, blood urea levels, respiratory rate, blood presure and age.Pneumonia in a person with confusion, higher blood urea levels, respiratory rate greater than 30 in one minute, sistolic blood pressure less than 90 mm hg or diastolic blood pressure less than 60 mm hg and more 65 years old;the prognosis is very serious.
I wish your health.
