Dr. Bhatti, As An ENT, Perhaps You Might Be Able

Dr. Bhatti, As an ENT, perhaps you might be able to best answer my question about my current treatment for a suspected sinus infection. I say suspected, because I have had bronchial congestion and coughing chronically, usually treated with a z-Pak, which clears it up-until it comes back in a month! The sinus X-Ray was normal, with no mucosal thickening. Dr. ordered Augmentin which I had to discontinue due to an adverse reaction. While waiting for a follow-up C-T scan, I was switched to Levoquin for 2 weeks. C-T scan just indicated an aplastic frontal sinus with no mucosal thickening. So, no infection for which I need antibiotics?
