Drained Pimple Leaving A Hole. How To Get It Cleaned?

I had what I thought was a large pimple and I forced it to pop. It drained and I put antibiotic cream on it and covered it with a bandaid. I change it three times a day. It is filling with white tissue (not pus) and I can tell if I remove that tissue there would be a hole. Should I clean the tissue out and leave a hole or do I leave the tissue?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
To treat the area, do warm water compresses of the area followed by application of antibacterial cream like fusidic acid or mupirocin. Keep the area open to help it dry soon. Do not manipulate the lesion let it dry so that a scab forms and falls off on its own. Also consult a doctor for prescription of oral antibiotic for faster resolution of lesion. If treated properly, lesion may heal without any scar or hole formation.
Take care
