Drug Addict, Put Him To Rehab For, No Use. Prescribed Sizodon, Feeling Dizzy Darkness In Vision After Taking. Normal?

Hi..my husband has become a drug addict since more than an year..cocaine and alcohol..had put him to rehab fir 3weeks n after coming back he started taking cocaine again so his Dr prescribed me to give him SIZODONE 2ml 3times a day as my husband refuses to take any oral medication so started with drops today..as soon as he took drops mixed in coke without knowing he started feeling dizzy felt darkness in vision n slept...is it safe? Is it normal?

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.

the dosage of 2ml three times a day is a bit high to start with. do discuss this issue with your psychiatrist. I generally start with 2ml at night only and then gradually increase. There is not much to worry as the maximum dose is 16 mg and you are still on the lower side.
There is a possibility of interaction of medicine with cocaine and hence it should be started low.
