Dry Foreskin, Difficulty To Pull Back, Whitish Substance On Penis. No Help From Lotions. Suggest
Hi. My boyfriend and I haven't had sex lately because his foreskin is dry and its painful to pull back. also there is like this white-ish substance on it as well. its particularly noticeable between the foreskin and the head his penis when the foreskin is up. he's stopped using the soap he thought was the cause and switched to a milder moisturizing soap and is applying lotion to the area but its not helping. what can we do to help soothe the dryness?

Prepuce is the skin over head of penis ( glance ) , the whitish substance between skin and glance is smegma ( this is a natural secretion with peculiar smell ).
The reason may be,
1 Narrowing opening of prepuce of penis , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a surgeon.
2 Para phimosis ( due to accumulation of fluid) again physical examination is important and surgeon will decide future course of action.
In my opinion lotion or soap will not act in any way , only physical examination will find out the disease and take treatment according to situation.
