Dry Mouth After Intake Of Progesterone As Natural Hormone Replacement. Help

I was put on natural hormone replacement recently for the onset of menopause. We began by placing me on progesterone. Almost immediately I began experiencing dry mouth. I was switched from taking three pills at night to three pills per day. Two of them are taken under my tongue and one is swallowed at night. I am still experiencing dry mouth. My physician says that progesterone can't be causing this but it was the only new thing introduced. Is it possible that progesterone does cause dry mouth and what can I do about it. It is keeping me up most of the night it is so bad

Forget it. I didn't know I would have to pay so nevermind.

Yes Dry mouth is a very common side effect of progesterone. The best way to help with this is to sip very small amounts of water throughout the day and keep a glass of water next to your bed.
