Dry Patches On Inner Thigh, Red Circles. Canestan Cream Ineffective. STD?

Hi this started in the middle of September, I had two circle dry patches appear on each side of my inner thighs, just where my knickers sit on each side of thigh up by my vagina. Yesterday I see it's gotten worse there is more dry red circles, one raised but not massive. I spoke to my GP at the start who said it could be ring worm who prescribe a canesten cream but I didn't use it regiliosly an now it's got worse.
Could this be any sexual transmitted

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The description provided by you does resemble the presentation caused by ringworms and I would advise you to follow the regimen as strictly as possible or visit your doctor for an examination.

As for the possibility of this being an STD, this can only be ruled out after further investigations, which can be done only once you visit your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
