Dryness, Burning In Vagina After Taking Vicodin. Have STD. Is Hydrocone The Cause?
I recently started taking Vicodin and noticed dryness and burning on my vagina.... its irritated and red but not severely, just uncomfortable. No discharge or anything as of yet,its been about a week since ive been taking them, Ive also started sleeping with a new partner but ive had an STD and this doesn't feel like it, but I could be wrong so my question is can the hydrocodone cause the dryness, redness, and burning?
But it is very rare. Most common cause of vaginal dryness is due hormonal changes.
When your estrogen levels decrease, natural lubricants drop dramatically. The moisture was your natural defense to thinner, less elastic and more fragile vaginal lining. Use the drugs that do not contain Hydrocodone.
If the problem still persists, please follow my advice. 1.Drink plenty of water 2. Use water base lubricant such as KY Jelly or Astro-Glide. 3. Use Replens. Replens is a moisturizer that closely imitates normal vaginal moisture and only needs to be used once every 3 days.
Hope this helps. Please reply for further queries. Wishing you good health.
