Dryness In Mouth, Tingling Sensation On Tongue. Suggestions?

For almost, a year or so I occasionally experience dryness in the mouth. More so, when I am tense because of a unpleasant confrontation with another person. Also there has been a very slight tingling sensation, (not always) on the tip of my tongue. Otherwise at 64, I am enjoying a normal healthy life. Just concerned, hence seeking your expertise.

Dear sir ,

Excessive dryness of mouth can be a symptom of autoimmue diseaes or can be simply due to anxiety also . If you feel that dryness of mouth is accompanied by dryness of eyes , dental caries , stopping in between prolonged speeches , swelling over jawline due to enlarged parotid glands , it is a serious issue that needs to be evaluated . If you experience any of these features kindly consult a rheumatologist for sorting out your disease.
