Dull Abdominal Cramps When Not In Periods, Dark Discharge During Periods, Bloating. Could This Be STD ?

Hi, I'm 17, female. For a couple of months now I have had dull abdominal cramps (when not on period) that feel similar to period pains. When on my period, my cramps have been more painful than normal and the blood was darker than normal, at end of period it was brown. Only discharge I have had is for a couple of days after my period where the discharge has been light greenish/ light brownish and snot-like, but not much of it. Only there when I wipe. It's gone now, was there for 2/3 days after period. I also feel bloated all the time. I am sexually active but always use protection and neither me or my boyfriend have slept with anyone else so I know it can't be STI. I also had a urine test done a couple of weeks ago and it came back saying there was no infection. Pleaseee try and reply to me I'm going out of my mind!

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Your history (dull abdominal pain always and increase in intensity during periods, dark colour discharge and even brown to green colour, feeling bloated always) suggest there is some problem in the genital tract, may be in PID or any problem in uterus. Get checked for your Hb, complete hemogram with USG abdomen and pelvis once. We can diagnose the problem with this. Consult your gynaecologist for further examination and management. Can consult me with the above investigational results. Hope I answered your question.

Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Lohit
