Dull Ache In Head, Anxiety, High BP. MRI Normal. Related To Food Intake?

Hi..I feel frequent pressure/dull ache in my head; sometime i feel these are related to food intake or lack thereof; this also causes anxiety and high blood pressure. I have consulted a Neuroligist before and gotten all scans MRI done - everything was negative. Anything else that I should be focusing on? Thanks very much

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

You have mentioned that you have severe headache, anxiety. All investigations including MRI came normal. As there is no definitive cause found so most likely the symptoms you are showing are due to anxiety disorder. Non specific fear, palpitations, tremors, headache etc are common complaints. Consult a psychiatrist for expert opinion. Medicines like SSRI or SNRI are very useful in anxiety. Get your thyroid levels checked in order to rule out hyperthyroid states.
Relaxation exercises, breathing exercises also prove useful.

Thanks
