Dull, Continuous Headache Above Right Eyebrow. MRI Normal. Possible Brain Aneurysm?

For the past three days I have experienced a headache that is located right above my right eyebrow. At the moment the headache is dull. My fear is that it is a brain aneurysm. With that being said, about three months ago I had a MRI for daily headaches. The MRI was normal, and my headaches seem to get better afterwards. If I had a brain aneurysm would it have shown up in the MRI? I assumed of there was an issue the MRI would show it, but then I learned about MRA's for finding aneurysms. This has made me feel less confident in my MRI results. Thank you for your time.

Hello,

Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.

Aneurysms are visible on MRI and hence as you have not found one, you can be confident that there are no aneurysms.
There are many causes for the headcahe and from the headache that you have described it appears to be a tension headcahe and will respond very nicely to Amitryptyline.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.

If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

In future if you wish to contact me directly, you can use the below mentioned link:
