HI, I have a left ovary complex cyst which comprisese much of the ovary. (4.7x4.2x4.2) I have dull pain. my urine culture grows gastrointestinal stuff(e-coli, citrobacter koseri), its been 10 months since I had an hysterectomy, I only had my uterus removed.. I have moderate pain when I urinate and have a bowel movement..I'm scared!
Hi, Thanks for the query. As you are having complex cyst after removal of uterus, better to get evaluated thoroughly. You may need MRI and estimation of CA 125 levels to find out the nature of the cyst. The causes for presence of bacteria in urine could be urinary tract infection, contamination of specimen while collecting the urine etc. Pressure due to cyst and infections are may be the causes for the pain. After the investigations a clear idea about the situation can be obtained and treatment can be planned accordingly.
