Ear Always Itchy, Hearing Background Sound. Taking Glipizide, Zocor, Baby Aspirin Tablet. Cause Of Problem?

My ears itch all the time and lately I notice I am also hearing a back round noise like a ticking that is with me all the time. I am a diabetic and take a single glipizide xl tablet each morning and a generic Zocor tablet for my cholesterol and a 81mg baby aspirin every other day as my doctor recommends. I wonder if maybe this or the vitamin I take is causing my problem. I also use earphones a lot with my t.v. at night as I am 58 and do not sleep consistently and do not want to wake others. What is up?
