Ear Pain. Taking Antibiotics For Swelling. Crusting In Back Of Ear. What Do You Think?

Yesterday I just gauged my ear from an 0g to a 00g. Now it successfully went through with no too much pain, but the pain afterwards was very mild. I took out the 00g and out back in my 0g. I am taking antibiotics just in case it is infected, which I personally don't thing it is. The swelling has gone down 75% since I first expanded the lobe and is no longer red. There is some crust in the back on my ear but not a lot at all. What do you think?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Better to get ear piercing done in hospital under aseptic precaution. well you are taking antibiotic, continue them.
Crust behind ear could be a dried skin and blood clot, need not have to worry for that. with in a week that will fall off by itself.

Hope I answered your question.
Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Vidya
