Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
An
ear infection may present with pain, fever, discharge,
hearing loss and in some cases , tinnitus.
It is possible ,since you are experiencing symptoms mainly when you yawn or burp that it may be related to dysfunction of the eusthacian tube. The eusthacian tube links the middle ear to the
nasopharynx. It is responsible for equalising pressure between the middle ear and the atmosphere and also for mucus drainage.
Dysfunction of the eusthacian tube can cause symptoms such as fullness sensation in the ear, popping , hearing loss and tinnitus.
In some cases it may resolve on its own.
The use of the valsava manuver may help- this involves taking a deep breath, closing your nose and mouth and trying to force the air up
Oral anthihistamines and decongestants may also help, these are available over the counter
Topical steroid nasal spray is helpful in some persons.
I hope this helps
