Echo With Doppler Shows Mild Mitral Valve Thickening, Mitral Regurgitation, Tricuspid Regurgitation. Matter Of Concern?

Hi just received my results from a echo with doppler exam and I have a mild mitral valve thickening, trace mitral regurgitation and mild tricuspid regurgitation. It states I hae great vessels , aortic root is normal size, IVC responds normally to respiration, left aortic valve opens well, no aortic regurgitation, no pulmonic valvular regurgitation, no pericardial effusion and right ventricular systolic function is normal. Ejection Fraction = 60-65%. I don t understand none of this. I m waiting on my appointment with Cardiologist. Should I be worried.

hi,
your ECHO report does not have any major cardiac problem , the mild tricuspid regurgitation with out PAH , and trivial MR does not have very much significance.
Anyhow you consult a cardiologist and evaluate for it if you have any symptoms like dyspnea on exertion , palpitations.
