Ecotopic Pregnancy. Advised To Start Duphaston And Ecospirin. Spotting For Which Taking Susten. Two Miscarriages Earlier. Suggestion?

hi doc, My name is Jeena, 33y. I had 2 early misscarriages (9w and 6week) and third an ectopic pregnancy. I am pregnant again.LMP was 3rd July. HCG levels are 2500 and 4900 when tested on 30 july and 1st of aug. My doc advised to start duphaston and Ecospirin.

From the last 3 days, I am noticing a little spotting every now and then. I just talked to my Dr, she advised to start Susten 400..I am little worried. any suggestion will be appreciated

Hi Dear,
B HCG test when done 48 hrs appart tells us about th econdition of ongoing pregnancy.In a normal pregnancy the value should almost get doubled in 48hrs. Any value less than that can be either due to missed abortion or due to ectopic pregnancy.
Also, at BHCG reading of 4900 intrauterine pregnancy including heart beat can be easily detected by ultrasound.
With your obstetrical history and present symptom of spotting per vaginum, my advise to you is to get an ultrasound done, check the viability of pregnancy and then treatment accordingly
