Ectopic Beats And Their Prevention

good morning. Diagnosed with ventricular ectopic beats since 2001,i ve been taking amiadarone 200mg tablet daily but now the dose has been changed to calaptin 40 yesterday. Also used to take 50mg eltroxyn for hypothyroidism from 2008 ( tsh 28). Both these med. have been stopped by Doc. after 24hrs continuous ECG monitoring. NAD in echo report.Shortness in breathing comes and goes.ECTOPIC BEATS continue.please guide.Chest pains sometimes on left side.c- xray report states elongated heart though i m not sure of its meaning.BP is normal.HEAVINESS IN HEAD PERSISTS.LAPSES IN CONCENTRATION AND IRRITATION is there.Trygliciride is 228. sugar level is normal.

hello n welcome to HCM......
i think its good to STOP amiodarone and calaptin but u should continue ELTROXIN as usual.
my advice to regular Blood pressure measurement. if ur 24 hrs HOLTER reports are normal then no need for any other medication for Ventricular ectopics.
