Effect Of Multiple Follicle In Periphery?

hello doc i am hema , today i got my report that i have multiple follicies are seen in the periphery. and i didit have my cycle for the last two months. and i got married before one year .before 4 months i got one abotion . plz say me what dose it causes for me.

Hello Ms. Hema,
According to your symptoms and the sonography findings, it looks like you have polycystic ovaries and this may have been the cause of the missed periods and the past abortion too. As you are not pregnant, you should get properly investigated with a complete hormonal profile, physical examination, serum prolactin levels and serum DHEAS levels, ovulation studies etc. and get managed. Please note that you have a condition easily treatable under proper guidance. Maintain a healthy weight and a healthy diet. Take care.
