can you please explain to me the left ventricle and O.S.A.? Why is it crucial to treat the L.V. if only mildly dysfunctional? Why is the L.M.C.A. so important? Can you please tell me why O.S.A. so important to treat if L.M.C.A. has a stent blocks up and a person has O.S.A.? Thankyou for your help, Jan. Dear Dr. I would love to talk/discuss all this with you, but I cannot pay you, I do not have the money and am not connected on the computer to pay. I am very sorry to have disturbed you, but were only aware of payment after typing everything into you - I literally thought it was for free. If you can assist me after me explaining this to you it would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps you can advise me of another contact that I could make, as I am very new to using a computer. Many thanks again, Jan.
There is a free forum in our site, you do not necessarily have to pay, a premium paid section is offered if a quick answer is needed and further follow up questions are necessary.
Regarding your questions... If left ventricular dysfunction is diagnosed then tests are necessary to identify the cause and prevent it from worsening. So even if there is mild dysfunction treatment is necessary to prevent further worsening (say if the cause is high blood pressure it must be treated or it will cause further damage over time).
As for obstructive sleep apnea, it is important to be addressed, in particular, if there are other heart issues as it has been shown to increase the risk of heart conditions like arrhythmia.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
