Elevated SGPT Levels, No Stomach Pain. Hepatitis, Jaundice Test Negative. Cause Of Worry?

Your SGPT is only slightly above the reference range. Such result can be caused by liver virus infection, gall stones, medicines intake and alcohol intake. Sometimes spicy diet can cause such level. But the most probable explanation is that this is your reference range and there is nothing to worry about. Especially that you have all necessary tests performed (hope that abdominal ultrasound was done as well).
I suggest you to avoid alcohol and spicy foods and repeat this tests for about 3 weeks.

That level is not alarming, however make sure you get a follow up test, to make sure they are trending back down to normal. Your liver doctor should have also checked for autoimmune disease of the liver (with an ANA, AMA and ASMA blood test), also for iron overload, Wilson's disease, etc. If you haven't been tested, it may be a good idea to do so, specially if the enzyme(s) remain elevated after a few months.
However keep in mind that nowadays the most common cause of abnormal liver enzymes is fatty liver, and even if you are not overweight you can get it. Therefore keep a health low fat diet, low sugar diet. Avoid alcohol.

Your SGPT levels are only borderline elevated. Since you had done other liver test also & they are normal so there is no need to worry. Alcohol intake of medicine intake can also raised liver enzymes. Avoid spicy food & alcohol till you repeat your blood test again. May be you can repeat your test again after 15 days.
