Enlarged Lymph Nodes, Lumps, Dengue Fever. Sonography Of Neck Done. FNAC Required?

Dear Sir, I have sonography of neck, which is showing extended lymphonodes.It says biggest lympho-nodes are in prosterior trainle measuring 1.6 cm to 1.4 cm. Please advice whether FNAC is must. I am feeling lump from last 6 months, immediately after diagnosis of Dengue and I have no other symptoms like, weight loss , fatigue and dreams. I am 26 years old.

Hi Vikas,

Yes, FNAC is necessary to confirm the cause of the lymph node swelling. Please rule out Tuberculosis first before anything else.
