Hello doctor, I am 33 years old, didn't have any sexual problem before, I am sexualy active. Lately, I started a diet to lose few kilogrames, and for that I started to take slimming capsules from 1 month ago.i am experiencing from 1 week errection problems, once my penis goes hard then when to put it in a vagina, my penis goes soft and few times I can start sex normally but during intercourse my penis goes soft.please help me as I am very frustrated
Before helping your problem, I would like to know some more details about you. Are you married? How long? How long you are sexually active? What is your sexual frequency per week previous to your present problem?
Cholesterol is the basis of our sex hormones. When you are on strict diet control and when there is a reduction in your cholesterol level it may affect your libido.
But your problem is not able to sustain the erection. It is more likely to be a psycho-sexual problem. It depends upon many factors. One time weakness in sexual performance will lead to performance anxiety and leads to such a problem. If you could consult a sexologist, he/she could help you better after a complete evaluation of your problem. It is easy to treat. You will be alright soon. Nothing to worry much. Dr S.Murugan
