You need to have a check of your androgen levels (testosterone) to find out if there is any abnormality in the levels. Additionally you would need to get an ultrasound scan of your ovaries to find out if they contain cysts so as to locate the site of excess androgen secretion. Finally, if the ultrasound is normal then you might be subjected to a CT Scan to note the condition of your adrenal glands.
