Excessive Saliva With Tonsillitis, Irritating. Is It My Hormones?

Hello I have excessive saliva with tonsillitis (that i have just got 2 days ago) but the swallowing has been for a couple of weeks before and it is really irritating I am 12 And obviously don't smoke I feel like I need to swallow lots help? I'm not sure whether I keep thinking I need to swallow or it is my hormones but please help? Will it go?

Dear,
As per the history you have given and the clinical findings you may be suffering with tonsillitis.
smoking may not be the culprit but it is bad oral hygine . try to do the warm saline gargles after food intake. you can start the antibiotic if it doesnt go in few days along with antibiotic.
I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed.
