Exhausted. Food Led To Pain. What Are The Red Bumps On Mouth?

On Sunday I was biking all day and got physically exhausted I ate a sandwich, a chocolate bar and Gatorade, my mouth started hurting after eating and it felt like I developed canker sores. I couldn’t eat or drink anything for the rest of the night due to the pain. A few days later small red bumps appeared on the roof of my mouth, slightly painful and they are still here. I can’t see a dentist because I am out of town till next week

HELLO,

Thanks for writing to HCM forum.

The bumps can be arised from the allergic foods ingested or due to anxiety/stress .

I would suggest you to apply topical steroid on the affected area.

Rinse your mouth after every meals.

Gargle frequently with warm saline.

Take a balanced diet ,fruits etc.

Vitamin becosules, iron supplements has to be administered.

Avoid spicy/allergic food stuffs.

If symptoms persists, please do visit a dentist.

Take care.
