Experiencing A Painful Bleeding Stool. Colon Cancer?

Hi,
I am 48, Hiv+ since 15 years and on therapy with good results. This morning I woke up to a painful bleeding stool. At better look the stool was very dark and the tissue bright red. I am due to an MRI next week. Will this exam clear any doubts that I might have colon cancer?
Thank you
Marc

It may be due to many reasons ..please consult a gasteroenterologist .. you may require a çolonoscopy to rule out tumors.. on the other hand it can be non related to HIV like piles etc .
