GERD. Ulcer dyspepsia. drinking will aggravate both these conditions, or even cause them. Stop drinking, smoking, eating spicy food, over eating and skipping meals. take frequent small quantity, healthy food and adequate amounts of fluid. Taking antacids for a couple of weeks as a trial shall help in diagnosis. thereafter if problem persists, an endoscopy would be advisable.
