Experiencing Difficulty In Walking And Sleeping Due To Heavy Pressure On Pubic Bone . What Treatment Is Suggested ?

I am on my 7th month of pregnacy and in my urine test following things are detected Pus cell:20 -25, Epithelial cell: abundant and Nitrite: positive. Since last 2 weeks it has become highlydifficult to walk, sit or sleep due to heavy pressure and pain in my pubic bone and also suffer frequent urination

Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
You are suffering from a urinary tract infection - UTI.
Please get a urine culture report also.
High pus cells indicate infection in the urinary tract.
The culture report will tell you what exact organism is causing the infection.
It will also tell you what particular antibiotics will work against this agent.
The antibiotics should be taken, else risk of miscarriage exists if UTI gets flagrant.
Also, pain in the pubic bone and pressure in that area is also due to UTI.
Plus as the uterus grows in size, it puts pressure in that area.
Get calcium and vitamin D levels checked, and take supplements from the second trimester onwards if indicate.
Drink lots of water and avoid intercourse till infection clears.
