Experiencing Ear Pain & Bleeding Due To Accidental Injury

This morning I was trying to clean my 9 year old son's ears after a bath and the q tip wne to so far in to his ear (this has never happened) and he yelled and cried briefly. Tonight he told me that when he put his finger in his ear, there was blood. Indeed there was. Not dripping but when I dabbed there was blood. He told me that nothing hurt and he was not in pain. Is he ok? Could he seem ok but have a ruptured ear drum?

Hi,
It seems that he might be having some soreness or minor injury in his external ear.
Ear drum is not likely injured.
Put antibiotic ear drops 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days.
now do not clean the crusts with q-tip.
Ok and take care.
