Experiencing Extreme Disorientation After Smoking Marijuana

I'm going to go ahead and assume this isn't a real person, but I'll give this a go anyways. I smoked quite a bit of marijuana recently (thursday, friday, and saturday night), and while i have smoked before it's never usually this much. Now i'm experiencing extreme disorientation the day after (sunday) while I'm sober and i want to know if this is going to go away? Everything feels foreign to me even though i'm in my house

Hi,

The symptoms that you are describing are common in marijuana intoxication. Marijuana can cause transient loss of touch with reality as well as intense anxiety. After years of heavy use, there is a risk of these problems becoming permanent. While your present symptoms will improve in a few days if you abstain, in future, it will be better for you to quit marijuana completely or at least cut down as much as possible. It has been shown in scientific research that people who have such symptoms after heavy use have a higher risk of developing psychosis due to marijuana later.

Best wishes.
