Experiencing Extreme Pressure In Ears And Forehead. Loss Of Hearing. Swelling In Membrane?

I am experiencing extreme pressure in my ears and my forehead creating lose of hearing and a headache. This past year, my eye sight has also been affected. One contributing factor to the problem might be that my neck feels very tight, creating restrictions. I have these symptoms 85% of the time. It is very difficult for me to function..my brain feels dull, loss of memory , feeling fatigued and can t hear well. Could there be swelling of the membranes restricting the blood flow and oxygen to the brain? This is what is feels like. I really need an answer....please! thank you.

Hi,

I am sorry that you are facing such a distressing problem.

I strongly feel there is an intracranial problem here, probably an intracranial space-occupying lesion (ICSOL).

You should get a CT or MRI of the brain as soon as possible. You require consultation with an ENT specialist too.

Sometimes a glioma at the base of the skull, or a middle ear tumor can cause these symptoms.

If all these major things are ruled out, then we may consider cervical spondylosis as one of the reasons.

With all these, I think you should act quickly and get it fixed as early as possible.

Get well soon.

Regards,
